**The Role**
This advert is an **Expression of Interest** for a Regional Procurement Lead based in Makati. As a key member of the Supply Chain/Procurement function, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of procurement professionals, driving strategic sourcing initiatives, and ensuring the efficient and cost-effective procurement of goods and services across the region. **A typical day may involve;**
Leadership & Team Management:
+ Provide formal supervision to a team of procurement professionals.
+ Mentor, coach, and develop staff, including performance evaluations and training.
+ Oversee the recruitment and hiring of new employees.
+ Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities, establishing work schedules and assigning tasks.
Strategic Sourcing & Procurement:
+ Develop, coordinate, and execute regional sourcing and procurement strategies in collaboration with business stakeholders and operational teams.
+ Draught, review, negotiate, and maintain contracts and other business documents for the purchase of goods and services.
+ Manage supplier and contractor certification processes.
+ Conduct periodic visits to supplier work locations to review vendor performance.
+ Analyze account-wide facility management services spend, suppliers, operations, and statements of work to identify opportunities for value creation.
+ Assist with creating RFPs, selecting solutions, and negotiating contracts with national and regional service providers, ensuring adherence to company standards.
Compliance & Process Improvement:
+ Review the process of contract terminations, expirations, extensions, and renewals.
+ Inform peers and corporate management staff of changes or results.
+ Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues.
+ Ensure contracts adhere to company standards.
Collaboration & Communication:
+ Work closely with business stakeholders, operational shared services team members, and sponsors.
+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
+ Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
+ Deal with sensitive issues effectively.
**Requirements**
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred; or a combination of education and experience.
+ Minimum 5 years of relevant procurement experience.
+ Experience in Malaysia or the surrounding region is required.
+ Proven leadership skills with experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance.
+ Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
+ Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions.
+ C.P.M., C.P.S.M. or N.A.C.M. certifications or eligibility preferred.
