Regional Operations & Strategy Manager
**About the Role** Marketplace is a team within the Rides LatAm Central Operations organization, dedicated to optimizing our operations. Earners and riders are the people who connect in our marketplace - and we manage both sides, ensuring competitive pricing and accurate pick-up times for our riders, while also guaranteeing equitable earnings and optimal utilization for our drivers. Our goal is to strike the right balance between growth and profitability, and this requires judgment to make difficult trade-offs, blending algorithms with human ingenuity, and the ability to create simplicity from complexity. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the marketplace pricing and incentives strategy for our products across LatAm, running large investments, supervising business performance and executing business analysis for continuous improvement. **What the Candidate Will Do** - Design and execute pricing and incentive strategies to optimize marketplace balance and drive sustainable growth across LatAm - Analyze financial metrics and marketplace health data to develop action plans that achieve strategic business goals - Collaborate with Product and Operations teams to forecast performance, define success metrics, and execute product launches - Build and maintain relationships with regional stakeholders to align on investment strategies and operational priorities - Monitor competitive trends and conduct deep-dive analyses to inform decision-making and identify market opportunities **Basic Qualifications** - 3+ years of experience in operations, strategy, analytics, or a related field - Experience managing projects involving cross-functional stakeholders - Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights to leadership **Preferred Qualifications** - Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis - Experience with marketplace dynamics, pricing, or incentive strategy Uber's mission is to reimagine the way the world moves for the better.
