The Merchandising team creates and executes transformative global product strategies that ensure we have the right strategy and assortment to fulfill our guests’ unmet needs to deepen our guest relationships, grow our brand and deliver on our long-term enterprise goals. We possess deep awareness and intuition of the consumer, competitor, global marketplace dynamics and guest needs and use this knowledge to develop long-term product strategies and roadmaps, and manage seasonal product line plans to maximize guest demand.
core responsibilities
Develop and execute regional footwear strategies that ensure guests’ unmet needs are fulfilled, through identification of market opportunities, guest/consumer insights, and competitor dataDefine and understand both short- and long-term product strategies and roadmaps, holding teams accountable to financial plans, GTM timelines, inventory management and various other key success metricsCreate regional merchandising strategies and omnichannel approach on a seasonal basis against product and financial goalsUtilize breadth of experience in industry to identify and articulate regional marketand product opportunities to global counterpartsDrive in-season execution and management to deliver sales through weekly/monthly/quarterly business analysis, open-to-buy, and product exitDevelop and support product assortment plans by region and channelCollaborate with brand to bring seasonal footwear campaigns to lifeLead business recaps and meltdownsPartner with Visual Merchandising team to execute store assortments through monthly VM guide creationManage data and systems input for Regional MerchandisingSupport with digital merchandising responsibilities as neededqualifications
5-8 years of retail buying, merchandising, product line management, or other relevant experience is requiredStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret multiple data points across numerous channels and market segmentsStrong operational efficiency and attention to detailAbility to balance analytical and creative tasksAbility to multitask and operate in a fast-paced environmentProficient with Microsoft Office programsmust havesAcknowledge the presence of choice in every moment and take personal responsibility for your life.Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovate to achieve great results.
