Regional Manager, PET-CT
The **Regional PETCT/Nuclear Medicine Modality Manager** is responsible for operational oversight, quality assurance, technical staff supervision and development, monitoring, reporting and auditing technical operations across multiple assigned outpatient imaging centers. This role combines leadership in general PETCT & Nuclear Medicine services with the development, implementation, and ongoing management of research, cardiac PETCT programming and modality protocol oversight. This role will require collaborating with the leadership team overseeing locations including but not limited to Site Managers, Lead Administrators & Corporate Quality to ensure the highest caliber of patient care and image quality is a focusand consistently delivered. The Regional PETCT/Nuclear Medicine Manager will oversee technical staff, equipment performance, maintain safety and constant readiness standards, act as a collaborative partner with Quality to deliver safe, quality imaging services at all times and actively participate in surveys, inspections and accreditation processes. Along with Quality, this role will lead the creation, implementation and ongoing refinement of a regional cardiac PETCT program, including protocol standardization and quality monitoring. Additionally, the expansion of services within PETCT and Nuclear Medicine will be an ongoing initiative with a focus on cross training of staff, upskilling technical knowledge of the direct report team and further strategic growth of research opportunities across the FL micromarkets. This role will support sites and staff to ensure all regulatory requirements are met and ensure compliance with license regulations within the state of FL. Additionally, the Regional PETCT/Nuclear Medicine Manager will oversee supply ordering by designated technical staff, manage supply costs in a fiscally responsible manner & work with the Imaging Resource Manager to ensure appropriate staff: volume ratios are maintained weekly to drive profitability at locations. This role will conduct annual technical staff evaluations, interview candidates for vacant roles and along with HR, conduct employee disciplinary actions and terminations. This role will also foster sound relationships with referring practices, optimally align and support vendor relationships and work closely with our procurement team. In addition to the duties and responsibilities of a Regional PETCT/Nuclear Medicine Modality Manager, the position adds responsibilities in quality assurance and clinic liaison. The Regional PETCT/Nuclear Medicine Modality Manager must recognize that these three functions are intertwined. **Specific duties include, but are not limited to:** + Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services efficiently and professionally, ensuring confidentiality and personalized attention. Regional PETCT/Nuclear Medicine Managers may actively scan 10-15% of weekly scheduled hours however, administrative time is a function of the role. + Maintain high level visibility and interaction with site personnel, technologists, radiologists, service vendors and support personnel as well as the multi-disciplinary team of leaders across the organization that support technical functions.Assist with hiring new team members, oversee performance management, and facilitate professional development initiatives. Conduct new hire and annual clinical assessments, as well as performance reviews for team members. Maintains good customer relations with referring physicians and engages with site Sales team to bring forward any concerns. + Comply with clinical accreditation requirements and submission deadlines. Assist with clinical accreditation applications and inspections. Identifies and investigates area of concern to preclude patient incidents.Promptly investigate and report for correction any service malfunction to ensure minimal downtime, while maintaining detailed accurate records.Ensure all required supplies are on hand to avoid disruption of service. + Work with the Clinical leadership and Radiologists to ensure protocols are current and quality services are being provided. Consults with Radiologist regarding situations requiring physician intervention. Actively engage with Case Managers on a daily basis to ensure tech workflows are in place, followed and medical reports are delivered to referring providers electronically. Collaborates with the account executive team supporting sales function. + Active participation in site leader daily huddles as well as weekly huddles with each sites technical staff to keep staff abreast of changes, concerns, implemented practices/processes, etc. Host at minimum quarterly meeting focusing on education, training, updates on policies, volume review, patient satisfaction statistics, team building and culture building.Work closely with Lead Administrator/Site Manager and Operations to ensure proper scheduling of exams and workflow is maintained.Fiscal responsibility related to staffing and forecasting staff: volume ratios. Additionally, oversee supply spend and work to ensure fiscally responsible spending. + Perform other relevant duties and responsibilities as assigned. **Position Requirements:** + Must hold ARRT and or NMTCB registry credentials and state licensure. + Must hold current BLS/ACLS certification + Valid state driver’s license, as applicable. + 5+ years of active PETCT or Nuclear Medicine imaging experience with a focus on research and cardiac PETCT. + Must be self-motivated and encourage a positive work environment which promotes staff engagement and superior delivery of patient care. + Must have strong analytical, organizational and multi-tasking skills. The role will require promotion of developing staff skill sets by acting as a supportive leader to drive change, promote compassionate care delivery and manage cultural change amongst technical staff. + Must have experience with protocol building, scan optimization and the ability to proactively engage with referring physicians, interpreting radiologists and patients/families to deliver best outcomes. + Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs as required within the role. + Must possess in-depth knowledge of radioisotope use and be focused on the expansion of clinical research and new isotopes within the market to strategically develop growth initiatives across the market. **Preferred:** + 5 years of scanning experience **Physical Requirements:** The employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions during transport of patients if working on a mobile unit.
