This client is a true innovator, developing and manufacturing a vast portfolio of medications, vaccines, and healthcare products that touch the lives of millions around the world. **Overview** Responsible for the management of the financial operations, controls and management information for the contract in EMEA region (client and corporate). Focus will be to manage the Finance and Commercial deliverables in line with the Master Outsourcing Agreement (MOA). Key part of the wider regional account leadership reporting into the Global Finance Leader. As such, expected to contribute and actively business partner in the overall management of the account within the region. Using a wide range of communication and interpersonal skills, will interact with a variety of stakeholders including the client (Finance and non-Finance leaders), suppliers and within CBRE across different business lines and countries. Engagement with counterparts in other regions is also expected. This will involve decision making, setting priorities, problem solving, meeting deadlines and reporting outcomes to account leadership while working independently and largely unsupervised. Implement continuous improvement, drive change, raise standards through direct and indirect management of the regional teams. Need to be self-starter, self-disciplined and independent thinker with well-developed communication and reporting skills with meticulous attention to detail. **Key Responsibilities:** + Provide best in class financial reporting to both client andGWSmanagement with regards to Actuals vs Budget and Forecast. + Reviewthe clientsP&Lresults and challenge financial information as applicable. + Deliver monthly expense reporting with insightful commentary and variance analysis, focusing on how negative variances can be brought back in line and address the drivers of negative performing results. + Partner with CBRE operational streams and the client to develop and produce annual budgets and rolling forecasts withvalue-addanalysis / presentations asrequired + Ensure full substantiation of all accruals, unbilled revenue are in line withGWSpolicy. + Assist Business Partners in their understanding of their costs + Manage,monitorand control accounts payable and receivable process on the account from end to end in detail + Oversee and control Purchase order Process + Prepare journal entries + Prepare regular and ad hoc management metrics,analysisand reporting + Manage month-end finance close procedures and reconciliations + Monthly preparation of accruals and prepayments,maintainingfull substantiation and FM sign off + Ensure applicable region’s Business Units in JDE are up to date and that transmission cost centres areaccurateand up to date + FulfilCBRE Corporate accounting and reporting responsibilities + Single point of contact for reporting on all real estate accounting issues both for CBRE FM Team and Client CRE Leads + Communicate to CBRE SMEs (legal, tax, finance, sourcing) on any informationrequiredtoprovidestrategic advice to the client + Support,workand communicate with other regional finance leads to ensure consistent level ofservice across the regions + Create and control all financial processes and policies on behalf of the client in the region + Manage all client deliverables regionally in line with the contractual agreement, + ensuring consistency of approach and quality of output + Develop high quality and effective relationships with key stakeholders + Deliver process improvements through hands on involvement in implementing changes in region + Assistwith client team requests in an efficient,timelyandaccuratemanner + Dealing with incoming queries and requests ina timelyand efficient mannerso as toensure the client’s expectations are met/exceeded + Matrixmanagealigned staff in Business Services Organisation (BSO) + Ensure finance policies and procedures are adhered to consistently across the region. + Communicate regularly with contract financial and non-financial staff to ensure they are fully informed of financialobjectivesand procedures. + Develop and understand how to bestutilizereporting capabilities (i.e. Power BI,myVantage,etc) + Have a thorough knowledge of procedures and procedures that lead the delivery of financial records and systems. + Manage and drive the monthly financial reviews with the client. + Ensure governance processes are being followed for the region (i.e. Balance Sheet reconciliations aremonitored– UBR, Debtors, compliance with policy) + Ensure that the month end review and sign off procedures are completed and followed + Training – help drive Finance forNon-Financeand other training initiatives within region. + Ad-hoc reporting as requested by Global Finance Lead or Regional/Global Alliance Director Required Knowledge & Skills: + Ability to follow agreed processes + Strong client relationship building skills + Strong interpersonal skills + Deadline and task orientated + Able to work under pressure and with changing demands and priorities + Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
