THE ROLE
The Regional Finance Director is a strategic finance leader who serves as the financial architect for our hospitality operations across world-class sports venues and entertainment facilities. This role demands a rare combination of technical excellence, business acumen, and leadership impact. You will be the trusted financial partner to operations leadership, driving profitability through data-driven insights, rigorous financial planning, and operational excellence.
This is not a traditional accounting role. This is a high-impact FP&A position where your analysis shapes investment decisions, your forecasts guide strategic direction, and your leadership develops the next generation of finance talent.
ESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Planning & AnalysisLead regional financial planning activities including annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, quarterly projections, and long-range strategic planningOwn regional P&L performance, delivering actionable insights, variance analysis, and recommendations that drive profitability improvementsIdentify and quantify performance trends, proactively flagging risks and opportunities before they impact resultsCreate executive-level financial presentations that translate complex data into clear, strategic narrativesStrategic Business PartnershipServe as the strategic finance partner to Regional Vice Presidents and District Managers, challenging assumptions and elevating financial rigorPartner with operations to optimize pricing strategies, cost structures, and operational efficiencyDrive clarity in executive decision-making through rigorous financial analysis and recommendationsChampion process improvements, cost optimization initiatives, and enhanced financial visibility across the regionFinancial Operations & ControlsOversee month-end close processes, ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting across assigned business unitsManage day-to-day accounting processes including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger operationsEnsure compliance with company policies, GAAP, and internal controls, maintaining financial integrity and risk mitigationMonitor working capital requirements with focus on cash forecasting, AR collection, and inventory managementLeadership & Team DevelopmentRecruit, develop, coach, and mentor finance team members to build a high-performing organizationConduct ongoing training sessions for regional finance staff and operations teams on financial procedures, systems, and initiativesFoster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and financial excellenceBuild solid working relationships across business and department leadersSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends Global policies and applicable laws.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree required (Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics)CPA or MBA a plusMinimum 6-8 years of progressive financial planning and analysis experienceMinimum 3 years managing and developing finance teamsHospitality, foodservice, sports & entertainment, or retail industry experience strongly preferredSKILLS AND ABILITIES
Advanced financial modeling capabilities with sophisticated Excel skillsKnowledge of ERP, RPA, and BI systems and toolsP&L management and variance analysisBudgeting, forecasting, and long-range planningWorking capital management and cash flow analysisCapital budgeting and investment evaluationStrong analytical and data gathering skillsCOMPENSATION
Competitive salary range of $165,000 - $180,000 plus bonus potential commensurate with experience and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Location: Hybrid w/ travel West Region
