Responsibilities:
· Responsible for design and programming activities utilizing direct digital controls, electronic comfort control and automation systems.
· Responsible for the sequences of operation, which meet the project requirements.
· Generates Operation and Maintenance Manuals, as well as responsible for reviewing contract documents and conducting job surveys. Reviews equipment submittals for incorporation into design.
· Responsible for creating installation drawings, submittal drawings, as-built drawings, and transition to service.
· Acquire and maintain knowledge of Trane Controls products and offerings along with applicable 3rd party devices.
· Assists in the preparation of cost estimates for projects, and assists BAS Technicians as required with programming, electrical terminations, commissioning, graphic development, test and startup.
· Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, communication with staff, providing customer feedback and solutions.
· Support Field Personnel During Installation with questions/concerns and update installation drawings as needed.
· Supports sales, engineering, and technical support staff when engineering assistance is needed.
Qualifications:
· Ten (10) plus of experience OR Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction or Engineering Technology, or other related areas coupled with five (5) plus years of experience in the HVAC industry controls design experience.
· Familiarity with operation and design of HVAC Systems, Building Automation Systems, and/or Temperature Controls required.
· Familiarity with the concepts of new construction and renovation/retrofit and performance contracting
· Windows operating system and Microsoft Office product knowledge (Excel, Visio, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
· Experience with a software program to produce control diagram drawings is required
· Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus and other BAS protocols is required.
· Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and network architecture preferred
· Flexibility to work outside normal work hours/weekends, as required.

Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $86,600 - $137,00
Additional Compensation: The position is eligible for incentive
