ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for the Regional Clinical Pharmacy Director:
Reviewing and documenting the accuracy of prescription drugs that have been received from the dispensing pharmacyAccountable for executing quality assurance checks and documentation that prescriptions are filled correctlyServe as a liaison between the dispensing pharmacy and the ADCCRIdentify and implement roles of inventory coordinators and pharmacy techniciansEstablish continue quality improvement initiatives and will participate in P&T meetingsMaintain consistent contact with physicians, mid-levels, nursing, regional, site administration, and client partners to communicate the pharmaceutical needs of all patientsEnsure seamless operation of pharmacy servicesServe an integral leadership role as HCV Committee member with the responsibility of identifying and addressing pharmacy-related issues related to HIV, HCV, HBV, Mental Health, Diabetes, and AsthmaConsistently ensure health plans and daily operations comply with policies, procedures, and standardsMaintain accurate and updated records of pharmacy services, therapy reports, and pertinent informationConduct thorough monthly and quarterly audits of facilities to ensure proper handling of prescription medication and compliance with state/federal regulations, policies and procedures QualificationsQualifications for the Regional Clinical Pharmacy Director:
Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm D from an accredited schoolUnrestricted Pharmacy License in AZMinimum of 5 years of progressive pharmacy experience; management of pharmacy operations experience preferredA valid CPR or equivalent certificate Strong written and verbal skillsStrong computer skillsWe know you may have questions before applying.
