Refrigeration Technician (DIRECT HIRE) - 1st Shift Weekend - $35.05
Our client, a leader in the food production industry, is seeking a Refrigeration Technician to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity. As a Refrigeration Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the operational efficiency of the facility. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Refrigeration Technician (DIRECT HIRE) **Location:** Hilliard, OH **Pay Range:** $35.05 per hour **Shift:** Weekend Shift - Friday thru Sunday 6am - 6pm **What's the Job?** + Operate, maintain, and repair ammonia and nitrogen refrigeration systems and associated equipment. + Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues. + Keep detailed logs of operating results and analyze data to enhance maintenance plans. + Inspect equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance and safety standards. + Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve maintenance goals and resolve issues. **What's Needed?** + Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with refrigeration systems. + Minimum 1 - 3 years "hands-on" experience maintaining an industrial ammonia refrigeration system, including vacuum systems, screw compressors, blast freezers, storage freezers, condensers and chilled water cooling systems required. + Experience in maintaining nitrogen flash freezers and Reco and Frigoscandia brand freezers highly desired + Electrical, pipe fitting, hydraulics, and pneumatics experience in the course of mechanical experience desired. + Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. + Experience with common maintenance tools and safety equipment. + Commitment to following safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices. + Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. + Gain hands-on experience with advanced refrigeration technologies. + Develop your skills through ongoing training and professional development. + Be part of a team that values safety, quality, and collaboration. + Contribute to the success and well-being of the company. + Permanent opportunity + Benefits **Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:** + Medical and Prescription Drug Plans + Dental Plan + Supplemental Life Insurance + Short Term Disability Insurance + 401(k) If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
