Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a full‑time Refrigeration Technician for a large food‑processing client in Melrose, MN, offering permanent 2nd‑shift hours (12:00 PM–8:30 PM) and 3rd‑shift hours (8:00 PM–4:30 AM) Monday through Friday with OT eligibility. In this role, you will operate HVAC, boiler, refrigeration, air‑compressor, and hot‑water systems in compliance with regulatory standards; complete scheduled and preventive maintenance; troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate electromechanical and solid‑state equipment; work independently and with the maintenance team to complete work orders; support Emergency Response Team activities; lift materials up to 50 lbs; and perform additional duties as assigned. This position includes a strong benefits package, paid training at Multivac School in Kansas, and tiered pay determined post‑interview ranging from $23–$30 per hour with bonus opportunities.

Skills and Requirements
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
• Ability to participate on the Hazwoper team and successfully complete the SCBA physical
• Willingness to obtain a Special High Pressure Minnesota Boiler License within 6 months of hire
• Hands‑on experience troubleshooting and maintaining ammonia systems, air compressors, hot water systems, HVAC units, and boiler room equipment
• Ability to work scheduled weekends and/or holidays as needed
• Must be 18 years of age or older (applicable to all plant roles) • Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience working with industrial refrigeration systems and related equipment, demonstrating strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Valid Minnesota High‑Pressure Boiler License at the 2nd Class level or above; 1st Class preferred.
• CIRA or CIRO certification, reflecting advanced competency in industrial refrigeration operations and safety standards.
