Job Title: Refrigeration Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician with a strong understanding of refrigeration systems, including low, medium, and high-temperature systems. The ideal candidate will possess a certified refrigerant recovery card (EPC cert) and have hands-on experience with brazing, silver soldering, and soft soldering, as well as pipe fitting, insulating, and leak testing.
ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure system specifications are met.Read and comprehend process flow and engineering schematics.Layout, cut, mount, and connect process piping using soldering and brazing methods.Fill process loops with specified gases or fluids.Cut, thread, and connect pipe to functional components and water or power systems on premises.Insulate piping, heaters, and various other system components.Essential SkillsProficiency in brazing, pipe fitting, soldering, and leak testing.Experience with refrigeration and HVAC systems.Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Mastery of refrigeration cycles, including identifying components, diagnosing, and correcting circuit problems.Experience with refrigeration recovery, evacuation, and charging, as well as installation and sizing of refrigerant piping.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with basic hand tools and power tools.Mechanical inclination and knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.5-10 years of experience in commercial HVAC.Refrigeration Certification and EPA Certification.Ability to work independently, with direction, and in groups.Willingness to grow and learn.Why Work Here?

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warminster, Pennsylvania.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
