**Job Title: Refrigeration Supervisor (Contract)**
We are seeking a Refrigeration Supervisor for a food manufacturer to oversee short-term projects on a contract basis. You will lead a team responsible for maintaining refrigeration systems, including mechanics, electricians, and refrigeration technicians. Your role will involve managing the maintenance team, attending meetings, completing reports and work orders, ensuring deadlines are met, and overseeing quality and preventative maintenance.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum of 4 years of maintenance experience on refrigeration systems, including HVAC-R, ammonia systems, freezer, and air-conditioning.
+ Proven leadership skills in managing a maintenance team, handling disciplinary actions, training team members, and organizing work orders.
+ Experience in refrigeration/ammonia, electrical, and mechanical maintenance, including boilers and ammonia compressors.
+ Familiarity with PM schedules and logging them in a computer system.
+ Ability to create and write plans in an ERP system.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Background in food and beverage industry.
+ Experience with SAP.
+ CMRP, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing Certifications.
+ Ammonia certification and HAZMAT certifiable.
+ Knowledge of boilers, evaporators, fans, glycol pumps, and Freon refrigeration units.
**Work Environment**
You will work in a high-speed food production facility that follows strict sanitation standards. The environment can vary from very hot to very cold in different areas. As the facility is older, equipment requires problem-solving skills to maintain and repair. The maintenance team includes electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration technicians, while other departments consist of production workers and forklift drivers. The dress code requires steel-toed shoes, jeans, and a work shirt. You will typically work a day shift from 6:00am to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday, with flexibility for additional hours if needed. Shifts are organized in two blocks: Sun/Mon/Tues/Wed or Wed/Thurs/Fri/Sat, with opportunities for overtime.

This is a Contract position based out of Deer Park, Texas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
