Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Refrigeration Mechanic - Brooklyn.
In this role, the successful candidate Have working knowledge of all trades: electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting and HVAC. Must be able to read manufacturers assembly sketches and drawings and simple blueprints.
Job Responsibilities:
Have some knowledge of basis electricity and be able to applyMinor repairs in San-I-Pak, compressors pumps fans etc.General understanding and knowledge of boilers including repairsCapable to do water testing and chemical treatmentCapable to read simple blue prints diagrams schematics, etc.Capable to do minor plumbing repairsFollow proper procedures for lock out/tag outProper usage of hand and power toolsPerform minor construction and demolition cleaning painting etc.Able to make repair on HVAC equipment (thermostat, mixing boxes etc.)Perform repairs on doors and window hardwarePerform repair in portable items (beds cribs stretcher etc. )Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a High School Diploma Or Equivalency Required. Trade School Training Preferred.
Minimum of 3 years experience in the maintenance field with general experience in all trades, painting, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and HVAC
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $84,687.67 - $91,911.33 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
