Our client, a leader in the fresh food processing industry, is seeking a Refrigeration Manager to join their team. As a Refrigeration Manager, you will be part of the Refrigeration Department supporting plant operations and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Refrigeration Manager
Location: Anacortes, WA
Pay Range: up to $135,000 depending on experience
What’s the Job?
+ Manage all utility systems to ensure continuous supply of refrigeration, heat, steam, and air for operations.
+ Oversee repair and maintenance of ammonia refrigeration systems and related mechanical equipment.
+ Develop and implement methods to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.
+ Lead preventive maintenance programs and manage expense prioritization for refrigeration projects.
+ Collaborate with management and engineering teams to resolve issues and improve system performance.
What’s Needed?
+ High school diploma or equivalent; Industrial Refrigeration Certification or ability to obtain.
+ 5+ years of refrigeration experience, including ammonia systems.
+ 2+ years in a supervisory role with proven leadership skills focused on change management, continuous improvement.
+ Large food manufacturing facility and maintenance department experienced.
+ Knowledge of safety requirements and emergency response protocols for hazardous materials.
