Recruiting Manager
**Job Description** UW Medicine Human Resources Recruitment Team is responsible for recruiting at Harborview (HMC), UW Medical Center Montlake, UW Medical Center Northwest, FPPS, UW Neighborhood Clinics (UWNC), and Airlift NW (ALNW). These entities have 17,000 total staff. Currently all 36 Recruitment staff report to a director and one manager. This position assists in operations management, analytics, and strategy. This position will include supervisory duties, including selection and hiring, performance evaluations, workload distribution, training, coaching, and disciplining. The position will have a recruitment load as well, which will include high impact recruitments. **Position Responsibilities:** Operations Management: Supervisory responsibility for components of the employment team, including hiring team members when vacancies occur, conduct and coordinate training for new team members, evaluate staff performance, assign workloads and redistribute client groups when necessary, and coach, mentor, and develop team members. Lead team in group events and tasks, with an overall focus on team development. Strategy development: This position will work with team members to develop recruitment strategies as a whole, as well as with individual team members for hard-to-fill positions. The strategy development work will include sourcing and advertising strategies. The goal of this work will be to enhance the department’s reputation as a shared service supporting all entities equally. This work will include partnering with hiring managers to identify, and solution for, gaps in service delivery. Recruitment: This position will maintain a client base and will recruit for high impact positions. Analytics: Position will contribute to the process of developing and maintaining recruiting metrics (metrics include monthly and annual reports, as well as ad hoc requests). These metrics will be used to report to the organization the recruiting efforts that are taking place, progress towards goals, and to identify areas of needed focus. **Minimum Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field of study. + Four years of relevant experience, to include full-cycle recruiting and leadership. **Additional Qualifications:** + Knowledge of federal and state rules and regulations governing employment. + Ability to analyze, interpret, and apply complex rules and regulations in problem solving and consulting with clients regarding employment. + Ability to effectively lead a team, establishing effective working partnerships with diverse groups of people.
