Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Recruiting Assistant to support our team during an uptick in interviews and increased complexity. This role focuses on delivering an outstanding candidate experience and providing backend recruiting support. It offers a fantastic opportunity to make a great first impression and ensure a positive experience for candidates.
ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with recruiters, hiring leaders, and other internal partners to schedule interviews, coordinate calendars, and manage travel and hotel arrangements.Create interview itineraries and work within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).Facilitate and review background checks in accordance with company guidelines.Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, building excitement and ensuring a positive experience.Provide coverage at our Recruiting Center Front Desk, greeting candidates and hiring leaders at our Corporate Des Moines campus.Essential SkillsExperience in talent acquisition, scheduling coordination, administrative support, recruiting, hiring, human resources, and customer service.Proficiency in MS Office programs including Outlook, Word, OneNote, and Teams.Experience scheduling in Outlook.Strong communication skills and attention to detail.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate's degree or equivalent experience plus 2+ years related work experience required.Bachelor's degree preferred.Customer-first mentality and solution-oriented approach.Curiosity about learning new things and trying new ways of operating efficiently.Experience working in a high-volume position.Work Environment
The role requires working onsite or hybrid with shifts from 8am to 5pm. The environment is dynamic, focusing on delivering excellent candidate and client experiences.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
