Our client, a leader in the light industrial sector, is seeking a Record Center Specialist I to join their team. As a Record Center Specialist I, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting vital operations in record management. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Record Center Specialist I
**Location:** Portland, OR
**Pay Range:** $22.00 per hour
**What's the Job?**
+ Process orders and move boxes of files, books, and other materials efficiently.
+ Lift and carry boxes weighing between 24-50 lbs regularly.
+ Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks while navigating uneven surfaces.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
+ Participate in reboxing tasks, ensuring contents are securely placed in new boxes.
**What's Needed?**
+ A background in warehouse work is essential.
+ Ability to lift and move boxes independently.
+ Strong communication skills, including reading and writing in English.
+ Willingness to wear required protective footwear.
+ Capability to work physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
