Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Reconciliation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge in accounting and understanding of the reconciliation process. . You will play a crucial role in ensuring our financial transactions are accurately matched and balanced.
Responsibilities
Reconcile POS transactions to bank/credit card transactions using Excel, SAP, or Blackline.Copy information from POS files and create pivot tables to track store transactions.Ensure all financial files remain balanced and accurate.Conduct manual reconciliations in Excel due to ongoing software upgrades.Match invoices to payments to balance accounts.Create pivot tables with all relevant information, matching transaction numbers and amounts.Essential Skills
Basic accounting knowledge, including understanding of debits and credits.Retail experience at the office/store-level to understand the reconciliation process.Proficiency in Excel, particularly in creating pivot tables and using formulas.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with SAP.Prior reconciliation experience is a plus.Work Environment
The position operates on a hybrid schedule, working from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm with a 1-hour lunch break. You will work four days in the office and one day from home, either Wednesday or Thursday.

This is a Contract position based out of Wayne, New Jersey.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
