**Job Title:** Contract Engagement - Account Reconciliation Specialist
**Location Requirements:**
+ Open to remote work; however, candidates must be available to be on-site for the first few weeks. Travel and hotel expenses will be reimbursed.
+ Preference for candidates who can drive to Central Illinois, but candidates from all locations will also be considered.
Jefferson Wells is seeking highly skilled Account Reconciliation Specialists for a contract engagement in Central Illinois. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to impactful projects.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Conduct detailed account reconciliation triage in a complex environment.
+ Pull, analyze, and trace transactions through massive Excel files.
+ Recreate reconciliations and identify discrepancies.
+ Perform root cause analysis and find resolutions for reconciliation issues.
+ Work with various systems to extract and analyze data.
**Qualifications:**
+ Proven experience in successfully completing complex reconciliation projects.
+ Advanced proficiency in Excel and systems-savvy.
+ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
**Skills:**
+ Expertise in account reconciliation and financial analysis.
+ Proficiency in Excel and other data extraction tools.
+ Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
+ Excellent communication and organizational skills.
**Hourly Rate:** $50+ depending on experience
