The Receptionist manages front desk operations and provides administrative support within a physician practice or center. You will ensure a welcoming experience for all patients and visitors and supports the medical team with routine administrative tasks under close guidance and established guidelines. You will report to the Center Administrator.
Job Functions:
Greet patients and visitors in person and by phoneSchedule and manage patient appointments, coordinating with medical staffMaintain and update patient records in EMR and CRM systemsProcess billing, update patient accounts, and collect copaymentsAnswer calls, respond to inquiries, and provide general informationKeep the reception area clean, organized, and well-stockedAssist with office tasks such as ordering supplies, managing inventory, and arranging courier servicesMake decisions within defined parameters for work expectations, quality standards, and timingUse your skills to make an impact
Required Qualifications:
One year or more of healthcare experience preferred. Candidates with strong customer service backgrounds (such as retail, hospitality, or call centers) will also be considered.Commitment to enhancing patient experience and careStrong customer service and phone skills.Collaborative and positive team player.Efficient multitasking in a fast-paced setting.Detail-oriented and highly organized.Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of experience with value-based care modelsKnowledge of medical terminologyExperience with EMR systemsBilingual in English and SpanishWorking Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 to 5:00
