Job Title: Receptionist and Administrative Assistant

Job Description

As a Receptionist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations by professionally managing phone communications for two companies, greeting visitors with a welcoming demeanor, and assisting with various administrative tasks. Your role will involve invoice reconciliation, purchasing monthly bus passes, ordering office supplies, and maintaining organized supply rooms. Additionally, you will handle package logistics and contribute to company event preparations.

Responsibilities

Answer and transfer calls for two companies sharing the same phone line.Buzz in and assist visitors upon arrival.Greet employees and guests with a friendly and helpful attitude.Reconcile invoices for office supplies, first aid kit refills, and the vending machine.Purchase monthly bus passes for field workers.Order office supplies and keep supply rooms organized.Ensure the office is well-maintained and tidy.Send out packages via UPS and maintain a package log, notifying recipients upon package arrival.Assist with miscellaneous tasks as requested.Help prepare invitations for company events, gifts, and other company handouts.

Work Environment

The work hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break and two 15-minute scheduled breaks. Business dress attire is required, as the receptionist represents the company. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
