As a receptionist, you'll ensure every patient feels valued from the moment they arrive, functioning as the welcoming face of our healthcare facility. Working onsite, you will report to the Center Administration. You'll manage front desk operations, support clinical staff, and help maintain a welcoming environment for our patients and community partners. The role is ideal for someone who excels in a dynamic setting and enjoys making a positive impact on others.

As a receptionist you will perform administrative-clinical tasks such as:
+ Create the first impression by ensuring all patients who walk in and call in to our facilities receive a warm greeting that provides a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
+ Will manage the provider(s), ancillary, and laboratory schedule. This will include but not limited to chart preparation, insurance eligibility, confirmation calls, and provider assignments.
+ Maintain the integrity of our privacy practices with our patients PHI.
+ Responsible for data entry, updating patient charts and collecting copays when needed.
+ Will be expected to navigate several applications to help manage and coordinate the needs of the patients, including an electronic health record.
+ Manage incoming calls, collect pertinent information, articulate detailed messages to collaborate with the clinical team to coordinate care.
+ Keep the reception area clean, stocked, and organized. May assist with inventory.
+ Being resourceful and offering community, social, and transportation information.
**Required Qualifications**
+ 1+ year experience in healthcare; and/or customer service background in retail, hospitality, or call centers also considered
+ Obtain and convey detailed information to the patients and team
+ Experience coordinating tasks, resources, and schedules to ensure efficient workflow
+ Experience using MS Office tools for reporting, data analysis, and workflow optimization
+ Experience and focus on patient satisfaction
+ This is a patient-facing role and part of our Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. We require TB screening upon hire.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Value-based care model experience
+ Knowledge of Medical Terminology
+ Experience with EMR Systems (Electronic Medical Records)
+ Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish

**Pay Range**
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$38,000 - $45,800 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
