What We’re Looking For

If you’re a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual seeking growth opportunities and a team-oriented culture – YOU can be our next Receptionist in our Business Support Services Division. This position will be based out of our Downtown Vancouver Office at 505 Burrard Street.

Responsibilities:

Answering and transferring incoming calls via the switchboardGreeting customers in person and over the phoneManaging a shared inbox to triage and redirect office inquiriesLiaising with office and building maintenance firmsProcessing insurance licensingCoordinating courier services (arranging pick-ups, tracking deliveries, maintaining supplies, and distribution)Coding and submitting invoices for paymentAssisting with boardroom bookings, catering, setup, and cleanupPlacing, tracking, and stocking various office suppliesProviding general office support as neededAssisting with onboarding new employees (e.g., phone setup, name plate)Placing service calls for office equipmentOther duties and responsibilities as assigned

Skills, Characteristics & Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Reception experience in a fast paced environmentStrong customer service experience and ability to multitaskExperience handling a busy switchboard with multiple linesStrong MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independentlyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHighly organized and efficient in managing responsibilitiesProfessional, dependable, and comfortable in a structured office environment

The expected salary range for this position is $38,000 - $45,500 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
