A leading corporate advisory firm is seeking an organized, poised, and service‑oriented Receptionist to support its rapidly growing Chicago office. This front-office role serves as the first point of contact for clients and visitors and is central to supporting daily operations, events, and the broader administrative team.

What You'll Do

Managing the office switchboard, screening calls, directing inquiries, and taking messagesGreeting and welcoming visitors; issuing passes and monitoring the visitor management systemCoordinating conference room calendars and ensuring rooms remain tidy throughout the dayMaintaining the appearance and professionalism of the reception areaCollaborating with the Office Manager to streamline administrative workflows and proceduresBuilding strong working relationships with local, U.S., and international teamsReceiving and unpacking office deliveriesSupporting daily office tasks such as dishwasher operation and clearing perishablesAssisting with catering setup and breakdown for meetingsProviding backup support to the administrative team and taking on additional tasks as assigned

What We're Looking For

1-3+ years of administrative or customer service experience, ideally within a fast‑paced, client‑focused professional services environmentStrong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable interacting with senior stakeholdersHighly organized, with the ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize effectivelyConfident judgment, proactive mindset, and ability to adapt to changing needsTeam‑oriented but able to work independentlyProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Bachelor's degree preferredAbility to lift up to 40 lbs (occasionally)
