Receptionist

Job Title: Receptionist

We are seeking a dynamic and personable Receptionist to be the face of our company. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing our front desk operations and ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors.

Responsibilities

Answer and screen incoming phone calls.Engage with customers and direct them to appropriate staff.Forward calls to appropriate departments and manage company voicemail.Print Mail Order orders for warehouse processing and manage remote Mail Order shipments.Organize company inbox emails and direct them appropriately.Maintain cleanliness and order in the front reception area and conference room.Greet and manage incoming walk-in visitors and vendors.Conduct monthly building walks to check overhead lights and report outages.Coordinate with external companies for facility maintenance tasks.Monitor and manage dishwasher and kitchen trash duties weekly.Ensure restroom supplies are adequately stocked.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Strong clerical and phone support skills.Experience in receptionist customer service.Excellent phone presence and organizational skills.Computer literacy and data entry proficiency.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Prior customer service experience, preferably at the front desk.Confidence in answering and managing phone calls.Ability to work collaboratively and assist team members.Previous experience as a receptionist is a must.

Work Environment

Our office is a fun and dynamic place to work, featuring a unique environment surrounded by candy and regular team-building activities. The role operates Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, from the front desk which is the first point of contact for customers. The office includes two cats, so comfort with animals is necessary. We offer competitive benefits including quarterly and end-of-year bonuses, holiday pay, a 401k with a 4% match, and health insurance with deductible-only costs. The office is located in the front with a warehouse at the back.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carmel, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
