Job Title: ReceptionistJob Description We are seeking a dedicated and professional Receptionist to support the reception desk in Huntsville, Alabama. This role is a contract-to-hire position, working Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The Receptionist will be responsible for greeting and checking in customers and guests, issuing photo IDs and access control badges, and ensuring the security of the building. Excellent customer service is crucial, as this position is the face of the client. The ideal candidate should be organized, able to handle multiple duties simultaneously, and present a pleasant and professional impression to all guests. Responsibilities + Work hours are from 7:30 AM until 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with flexibility to work overtime when needed. + Answer phone calls and transfer them to the appropriate employee. + Badge visitors and assist with conference room scheduling. + Provide general administrative and clerical support. + Assist other roles onsite with assignments. + Submit tickets for facility-related issues and building maintenance using Corrigo. + Keep an updated building contact list for key personnel. + Update the Concierge Playbook for the site and keep the updated Playbook at the desk at all times. + Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned. + Flexibility in roles, responsibilities, and working hours is critical and necessary as it relates to the needs of the business. Essential Skills + 2+ years of receptionist or administrative experience. + High School diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate degree or college coursework is preferred. + Professional experience in a busy front desk setting is preferred. + Must be able to work in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment. + Excellent customer service skills. + Ability to communicate professionally both in person and in writing. + Strong organizational skills with a positive, problem-solving attitude. + Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision. + Must be able to sit for long periods, climb stairs, and lift up to 25 lbs. + Proficiency with desktop computing platforms (PC) and applications (MS Office Suite, Microsoft Teams). Additional Skills & Qualifications + Associate degree or college coursework is preferred. + Experience working in a busy and fast-paced environment. Work Environment This position is located in a busy and dynamic reception area. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with the possibility of overtime. The role requires a professional and pleasant demeanor as it involves direct interaction with clients and guests. The dress code is professional attire. The role also requires proficiency with desktop computing platforms and Microsoft Office applications. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntsville, AL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
