Receiving & Inventory Specialist / $25.00 - $30.00

PRIMARY EMPLOYMENT OBJECTIVESThe Receiving & Inventory Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate flow, tracking, and integrity of materials throughout Revision’s operations. This position combines hands-on receiving and material handling with inventory control and ERP system accuracy to support production readiness, supply chain execution, and operational efficiency. The role works closely with Supply Chain, Production, Quality, Finance and Operations teams to ensure materials are received correctly, inventory records remain accurate, and issues are identified and resolved quickly. Success in this position directly supports inventory accuracy, on-time production, and continuous improvement initiatives across the business. SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESReceive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders, packing slips, and ERP recordsAccurately transact receipts, adjustments, and inventory movements in the ERP systemIdentify, document, and resolve discrepancies related to quantity, condition, or documentationCoordinate with Supply Chain, Quality, Production, and vendors to resolve receiving or inventory issuesPerform cycle counts and physical inventories; investigate and reconcile variancesReview work orders, inventory transactions, and operational paperwork for accuracySupport and maintain Kanban systems; act as backup as requiredLabel, store, and organize materials according to company, safety, and ISO standardsOperate forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment safelyMaintain clean, organized, and safe receiving and inventory areasAssist with inventory audits, reporting, and continuous improvement effortsSupport material handling and shipping operations as neededProcess returns and nonconforming material in coordination with Quality and Supply ChainCommunicate inventory status, risks, and trends to appropriate stakeholdersPerform other duties as assigned to support operational objectivesKnowledge, Skill & Experience RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or certification preferred2–3 years of experience in inventory control, receiving, and/or warehouse operationsManufacturing environment experience preferredExperience using ERP/MRP systems (Syteline preferred)Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracyAbility to prioritize work in a fast-paced environmentBasic math, data entry, and documentation skillsProficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard office applicationsForklift certification preferred (training provided if needed)Willingness to work overtime as requiredU.S. Government authorization requiredPHYSICAL DEMANDSStand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and perform physical tasks for the majority of the shiftRegularly lift and move up to 20 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 50 poundsOperate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacksPerform repetitive motions related to material handling and inventory tasksSpecific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focusOccasional overtime and weekend work may be requiredWork environment
