Job Description
The Inventory Control Clerk plays a vital role in enhancing and sustaining company profitability by maintaining accurate inventory levels. This position ensures that optimal inventory is available and ready for use, contributing significantly to the company's operational efficiency.
ResponsibilitiesGather data using the ERP system to obtain information such as purchase orders, receipt dates, and other necessary details for creating material labels.Create and print material labels for each inventory product.Maintain data in the systems to ensure information is up to date.Coordinate the return of stock back to inventory and make necessary adjustments in Avante.Facilitate the transfer of raw materials, parts, and finished products between various production areas and external warehouses.Collaborate with material coordinators.Maintain a tidy and clean area for returned goods.Adhere to all existing company policies and procedures.Ensure product integrity throughout the movement cycle by handling sensitive products appropriately.Essential SkillsProficiency in warehouse management and computer skills.Experience with inventory control, RF scanners, and warehouse systems.Ability to conduct cycle counts and labeling.Familiarity with Innovex and Shipping.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to adapt quickly to changing conditions and solve problems immediately.Capacity to work well under pressure.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Strong reading comprehension skills.Ability to work well with others and maintain organization across departments.Capability to multitask and handle multiple issues simultaneously.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The role operates within a manufacturing environment featuring multiple stations. The climate can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Despite recent public ownership by Merada, the company maintains a family-like atmosphere. The position involves conducting inventory on the floor for most of the day and working on a computer towards the end of the day. Physical demands include standing, sitting, walking, talking, and handling materials, with the ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.25 - $23.25/hr.
