Job Description We are seeking a skilled Receiving Inspector (RI) with experience in quality control within a regulated manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands on metrology skills, the ability to interpret technical drawings and CAD models using GD&T principles, and familiarity with inspection equipment commonly used in medical device settings. This role involves performing receiving inspections on incoming materials and components, conducting dimensional checks using hand measurement tools such as calipers and drop gauges, and operating visual inspection systems including VLM vision equipment. The inspector will utilize RI tools to complete accurate documentation, maintain inspection records in alignment with internal procedures and regulatory standards, communicate nonconformances while working collaboratively with QC and Engineering teams, and support continuous improvement efforts to maintain compliance with the quality management system. Skills and Requirements 2-3 years of experience as a Receiving Inspector Strong understanding of GD&T, CAD-based drawings, and engineering documentation Hands on measurement skills with inspection tools (calipers, drop gauges, etc.) Experience using vision measurement systems (VLM) Previous experience in medtech or aerospace industry Ability to use RI inspection equipment and follow standardized workflows Knowledge of or experience working under ISO 13485 quality management systems Experience with large or complex medical device components
