We are looking for you to join our team as a Receiving Inspector 2 based out of Salt Lake City, UT.
What you'll get to do:
Inspects purchased parts and materials for conformity to standards, specifications, and processing requirements.
Inspects for proper identity and dimensions using such measuring devices as micrometers, gauges, and calipers.
Visually inspects for obvious defects or damage such as corrosion, cracks, dents, scratches, and pits.
Verifies specifications using purchase orders, blueprints, drawing or inspection instructions, and checklists.
Makes pass/fail decisions on inspected goods.
Maintains records of results.
Inspections may involve compound angles or three-dimensional projections using inspection equipment such as microscopes, micrometers, telescope gauges, and optical comparators.
The ideal candidate must be able to communicate, pay attention to detail, and have knowledge of using MS Office Suite.
Basic Qualifications for the Receiving Inspector 2:
High School Diploma or equivalent with 2 years of inspection experience.
Experience interpreting blueprints and/or drawings.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
AS 9100, ISO 9001, or other QMS experience.
SAP experience.
Primary Level Salary Range: $44,400.00 - $74,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
