This role is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and organizing food deliveries to ensure kitchen inventory is accurate, safe, and ready for patient and staff meals.
ResponsibilitiesReceive and verify all incoming food and supply deliveries.Inspect items for quality, temperature, and accuracy against invoices.Organize and store products in designated areas, including dry, refrigerated, and frozen sections.Rotate stock and monitor expiration dates to ensure food safety.Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas.Communicate discrepancies or damaged goods to supervisors.Assist with inventory counts and restocking kitchen supplies.Follow all hospital and food safety protocols during handling and storage.
Essential SkillsExperience in foodservice, retail, or customer service.Knowledge of food preparation and food safety standards.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts.Capability to perform general labor and housekeeping tasks.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a kitchen, fast food, or hospitality environment.Experience with inventory management, shipping, and receiving.Customer service oriented with good communication skills.

Work Environment
The work schedule is from 5am-6am start time to 2:30pm or 3:30pm finish time, with hours varying based on delivery volume. Rotating weekends are required, and candidates must be open to overtime. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
