Job Description
The Receiver performs the functions of quality control processing, labeling, packaging, and offloading inbound shipments that arrive from our Vendor Partners.
ResponsibilitiesPerform quality control processing, labeling, and packaging of inbound shipments.Offload inbound shipments from Vendor Partners.Stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry products for 8 or more hours.Lift up to 50 lbs, with team lifting encouraged for heavier items.Exhibit excellent organizational skills with critical attention to detail.Communicate effectively with others using solid verbal communication skills.Rotate throughout the Receiving Department and other warehouse functions for training and operational purposes.Adapt to a warehouse environment with temperature fluctuations and noise from conveyors and forklifts.Label and package various items.Cut flaps and remove tops off boxes.Sort products and unload parcel trailers or move skids with a pallet jack.Perform quality control processing using RF scanners.Accurately count inbound products and match them against vendor packing slips.Report receipt discrepancies.Maintain a clean and safe area by disposing of garbage, cardboard, and plastic wrap properly and adhering to safety policies.Essential SkillsAbility to lift 50 lbs (rarely).Forklift experience - both sit down and stand up.6+ months of warehouse experience.High School Diploma.Additional Skills & QualificationsForklift certification.Previous warehouse and/or receiving experience.Why Work Here?

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
