**Job Title: Receiving/Production Helper** **Job Description** We are seeking a Receiving/Production Helper for a large metal finishing facility located in Costa Mesa, CA. This position is on the first shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. The role offers competitive pay based on experience, starting from $16.50 per hour for no experience and going up to $22 per hour for experienced candidates. Overtime opportunities are available once training is complete. **Responsibilities** + Coordinate with the production team and communicate order statuses to top 20 customers. + Ensure production schedules meet customer due dates and assist in processing production orders. + Perform quality assurance activities throughout all stages of production. + Receive and inspect customer products for processing, including greeting customers at the service counter and receiving shipments from carriers such as UPS and FedEx. + Conduct purchase order verifications, visual inspections for part damage, and verify part quantities. + Stage items on receiving shelves while maintaining part identification and traceability. + Complete and maintain paperwork as required by internal procedures. + Maintain cleanliness, organization, and workflow of the receiving area. + Seek opportunities to learn new skills and cross-train into various departments. **Essential Skills** + Bilingual in English and Spanish. + Professional communication skills for interacting with customers via phone, email, and in-person. + Basic proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel. + Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. + Valid driver's license. + Strong customer service skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with shipping and receiving, packaging, material handling, inventory control, data entry, and inspection. + Ability to type and willingness to learn production planning. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $22.00/hr.
