**Job Title: Receiving Associate**
**Job Description**
The Receiving Associate will be responsible for unloading shipments from trucks, which include pre-made shoes, tights, returned products from customers, rolls of fabric for sewing and design, and other materials. The role involves entering products into the computer system and ensuring they are stored accurately within the facility. This position requires mobility and involves lifting boxes from trucks.
**Responsibilities**
+ Unload shipments from trucks, including various products and materials.
+ Enter products into the computer system for inventory management.
+ Store products in their designated areas within the facility.
+ Assist with managing warehouse inventory and returns.
+ Operate cash registers and provide service as needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1+ years of experience with computers.
+ Ability to count accurately up to 100.
+ Ability to stand for 8-10 hours.
+ Capability to lift 25-50 pounds.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in warehouse inventory management.
+ Skills in picking and packing.
+ Good computer skills.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is highly automated and technical, with air-conditioning ensuring comfort during long periods of standing (10 hours). The role primarily involves standing rather than walking around. Regular hours are Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm, with periodic early shifts beginning at 6:00am. Candidates should be prepared for these shifts, as they may occur unexpectedly. Prior experience in fast-paced environments like Amazon or fast food/retail can be beneficial, but strong computer skills and a driven attitude are key to success.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SAINT LOUIS, Missouri.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
