Job Title: Service Technician

Job Description

As a Service Technician, you will travel extensively with one of our two crews, servicing regions including North Dakota, South Dakota, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, and occasionally Colorado. This role involves 100% travel from Monday to Friday, with efforts made to return by Thursday. If returning on Thursday, you will enjoy Fridays off, leading into the weekend. We seek individuals with mechanical experience who are comfortable with frequent travel.

Responsibilities

Disassemble and reassemble air seeding equipment for repair, testing, and necessary adjustments.Repair or replace defective parts using hand and power tools, including cutting tools.Solve problems using reasoning as they arise.Select appropriate hand tools, power tools, and processes for mechanical tasks.Ensure cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of the work environment.Meet at the shop in Fargo on Monday, travel with a crew to job sites, and plan to return Thursday or Friday.Will work 60-70 hours.

Essential Skills

Mechanical experience and troubleshooting capabilities.Proficiency in assembly, repair, and service tasks.Experience with electrical systems and hand tools.Field service experience and knowledge of power tools and hydraulics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience and technical knowledge of equipment.Working knowledge of mechanical systems.Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and handle uncertainty.Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and maneuver in tight spaces or under equipment.Willingness to travel extensively.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
