Major Activities
Manage the Real Estate Committee process, including executive-level presentations and cross-functional alignmentEnsure that key committee decisions are translated into actionable real estate strategiesSupport and recommend best practices on complex ad hoc real estate projects and initiativesCollaborate with external Lease Administration services provider to provide feedback and solutions on escalated issues, coordinating communication with internal teams including Legal, Real Estate, Facilities, Operations, Construction, Finance, and Accounting.Distribute reporting on savings through lease amendments, waivers, reconciliations, cotenancy violations, and tenant allowance reimbursements as well as status of defaults and landlord issues.Work with Deal Makers to support the annual development and documentation of the Portfolio Market Plan across multiple business partners.Generate estimated annual rent budget considering rent, NNN, alternate rent payments, and potential renewals or closures. Review monthly and weekly payment files for errors.Provide oversight to ensure critical dates are closely monitored and track project activities, ensuring adherence to established schedules and deadlines.Validation of abstracted leases and amendments to ensure accuracy and completion. Oversee annual audits.Other duties as assigned
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceMinimum Special Certifications or Technical Skills
Understanding of legal writing and interpretation and ability to negotiate & interpret lease documentationPowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.Familiarity with lease administration databases and/or project tracking softwareMinimum Type of Experience the Job Requires
2-4 years of professional work experience in lease administration, project management, retail/commercial real estateExperience delegating work and providing feedbackPreferred Education
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Real Estate, Business, or LegalPreferred Special Certifications or Technical Skills
CoStar, Oracle, and/or QuickBase experiencePreferred Type of Experience the Job Requires
Related experience within the commercial real estate industry (retail experience preferred)Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.
