As a Development Manager within AWS Infrastructure, you will have the opportunity to help shape and execute strategies to expand our Data Center portfolio and related infrastructure. The position requires a high degree of technical competence and professionalism. This position is responsible for building strong partnerships with regional teams, internal cross platform functions and business stakeholders to achieve regional strategic goals. This position will be required to step into several development projects at varying stages. Basic Qualifications - 5+ years of project management (including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk and critical path management) experience - 5+ years of external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management experience - Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications - Bachelor's degree in enginnering or equivalent, or 5+ years of construction or project management experience Preferred Qualifications - Experience in Design/Construction using Autodesk Revit to design and coordinate large, complex, or innovative projects - Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification - Experience directly related to the design or construction of large data center facilities, either colocation or client owned/operated - Knowledge of data center infrastructure design, operations, or delivery Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $83,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $177,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
