**Job Title: Reach Truck Operator** **Job Description** As a Reach Truck Operator, you will be responsible for operating a reach truck to efficiently load and unload trucks on the docks. You will perform various daily warehouse duties manually, including packaging, stacking, palletizing, and using a RF scanner to scan products in and out of the warehouse. Additionally, you will count and track inventory through invoicing, requiring eligible handwriting and correct form completion. **Responsibilities** + Operate a reach truck to load and unload trucks on the docks. + Perform daily warehouse duties by hand, such as packaging, stacking, and palletizing. + Use a RF scanner to scan products in and out of the warehouse, ensuring accurate barcode scanning. + Count and track inventory through invoicing with eligible handwriting and correct form completion. + Fill out inspection sheets for trucks leaving the docks, ensuring the correct amounts are recorded. + Assist in various warehouse tasks, including stacking, packaging, scanning, and cleaning. + Work comfortably in temperatures from 38 degrees or colder. + Lift up to 60-70lbs, primarily during forklift operation. + Adapt to a fast-paced environment with up to 80 trucks coming in and out daily. **Essential Skills** + Reach Truck experience - 1+ years + Ability to lift up to 70lbs + Math skills - 1+ years **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous cold storage experience is preferred + Forklift experience is preferred **Why Work Here?** Join a continuously growing storage facility in the Des Moines market, offering great promotional opportunities. Employees need to provide their own cold weather gear initially and steel-toed boots, with a freezer coat provided after the first week. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of ALTOONA, Iowa. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
