**Job Title: Reach Forklift Operator** **Job Description** The position is responsible for functions relating to the storage and/or shipment of product including, but not limited to, putaway, order picking, replenishing, palletizing, cycle counts and inventory control. **Responsibilities** + Consistently meet goals. + Cross-train in at least 50% of functional positions in the assigned department. + Act as a backup for other departments in various functional positions. + Perform additional duties as assigned by the department Supervisor or lead. **Essential Skills** + Ability to operate any stand-up forklift safely and efficiently. + Ability to read and understand work orders including warehouse layout and product location. + Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations, count accurately, and understand unit of measure conversions. + Ability to prioritize and think clearly under pressure. + Above average written and verbal communication skills. + Ability to support the team concept. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or GED preferred. + Certified to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet jack, and cherry picker. + Ability to operate equipment requiring manual dexterity including use of hand-held scanner. + While performing duties, employee will regularly stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch. + Employee may lift, lower, and carry product up to a maximum of 75 pounds by hand. **Why Work Here?** We offer a supportive team environment where you can grow and develop your skills.
