**Job Title: Raw Material Receiving**
**Job Description**
The role involves managing inventory movements both physically and electronically using an ERP system, ensuring the accuracy of quantity and aging of raw materials. You will receive materials from FTL and LTL shipments, physically move them to designated locations, and prepare materials for machine loading by removing packaging. You will also perform periodic inventory cycle counts to maintain desired material levels, manage space allocations, and make recommendations for increased utilization.
**Responsibilities**
+ Manage inventory movements both physically and electronically using an ERP system.
+ Verify and maintain accuracy of quantity and aging of raw materials.
+ Receive materials from FTL and LTL shipments and physically move them to desired locations.
+ Perform periodic inventory cycle counts to maintain desired levels of materials.
+ Manage locations and space allocations of raw materials, making recommendations for increased utilization.
+ Prepare materials for loading into machines by removing packaging material.
+ Operate forklift and pallet jack equipment as needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years experience in shipping and receiving, inventory control, and inventory processing.
+ 1+ year experience in material handling.
+ Experience with cycle counts and inventory management.
+ Proficiency in data entry and ERP navigation.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Forklift and material handling experience.
+ Experience in picking and material handling.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is a sheet metal manufacturing setting involving machining, fabrication, and assembly. The work schedule is Monday to Thursday from 6:30am to 3:30pm, and Friday from 6:30am to 12:30pm.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $26.00/hr.
