Range Contractor Coordinator

The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOC) is looking for a Range Contractor Coordinator to support our government customer in Kekaha, Hawai'i.

Manage logistics and operations for Range scheduled activities.  Duties include but are not limited to attending operational planning meetings, real- time coordination with contractor, Government and program personnel.  Coordinating and tracking follow-up activities on assigned Range operations. Assisting with Requests for Proposal (RFP) to provide Technical Instruction (TI) estimates to ensure labor and funding meets the requested tasking.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and execute contractor plans for scheduled range activitiesAct as a liaison between contractors, government personnel and program teamsKeeps abreast of changes in PMRF Range Operations forecasts to identify future requirements and scheduling conflictsInterfaces with Government counterparts and other Koa Lani elements to ensure mutual awareness of operational requirementsAttends and participates in briefings, planning conferences, and meetings to gather operational requirements for assigned programsPrepares and distributes required administrative documentation to identify operational set-up for instrumentation and support systems and all data requirements for the assigned operationCoordinates and documents real-time efforts of operational support personnel IAW the published documentation and technical direction from Government counterpartsPrepares and submits Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) for assigned operationsCoordinates the distribution of data products gathered during assigned operationsParticipates in post-operational critiques and reviewsMaintains working knowledge of operational support systems and facilities to coordinate detailed scheduling and support requirementsCross-Training into ICC (Scheduling) is requiredPerforms other duties as assignedMust be able to travel interisland and out of state if required

Office conditions are varied and includes physical tasks including lifting, pushing or pulling up to 10 pounds. Physical positions will include but not be limited to walking, sitting or standing for extended periods of time, crawling, kneeling, stooping or cramped working places and work requiring repeated or frequent climbing. Environment will include customer contact, extended workdays, an office laboratory environment.

DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT:

High school graduate or equivalent plus two (+2) years’ experience coordinating or participating in military exercisesValid driver’s license

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Ability to interact with all levels of military and Government leadership and civilian organizationsAbility to work a flexible schedule with extended, overnight hours as neededKnowledge of operational support systems and facilities to coordinate range schedules desiredMust possess the following PC skills: MICROSOFT OFFICE:  Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Windows

REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:

Must be a U.S. CitizenSecret clearance is required. (Applicants selected either must currently possess a Secret clearance or will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain clearance prior to commencement of employment and maintain a security clearance for access to classified information or Closed/Restricted Areas throughout duration of employment.)
