**Job Title: Radon Installation Technician**
**Job Description**
As a Radon Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing mitigation systems to reduce harmful radon gas levels in homes and commercial buildings. This hands-on role involves using specialized tools to drill, seal, and ventilate structures, often working in basements, crawlspaces, and other confined areas. You will interpret test results, design effective mitigation strategies, and ensure all work complies with local and federal safety regulations. Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with clients are essential.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install radon mitigation systems using specialized tools.
+ Interpret test results and design effective mitigation strategies.
+ Ensure compliance with local and federal safety regulations.
+ Work in basements, crawlspaces, and other confined spaces.
+ Communicate clearly with clients regarding project details.
**Essential Skills**
+ Mechanical aptitude to work with tools, piping, fans, and ventilation systems.
+ Basic construction skills including carpentry, drilling, sealing, and working in crawlspaces or basements.
+ Electrical knowledge for wiring fans and system components.
+ Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with radon systems post-installation.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Certification through NRPP or NRSB is highly desirable and may be required. (If you do not hold a certification, you will be given the opportunity to get certified
+ HVAC & Plumbing knowledge to enhance mitigation effectiveness.
+ Plumbing basics for working with sump pumps and drainage systems.
+ Familiarity with building codes, especially in construction, remodeling, or environmental safety.

**Work Environment**

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
