U.S. Got People (USGP) is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technician to join our team at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, providing essential diagnostic imaging services to our military service members, their families, and veterans.

Education: Graduate of an accredited X-Ray Technologist Training Program approved by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiological Education (JCERT).Certifications: Valid and unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state, territory, or commonwealth. Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the American Heart Association or military program.Experience: Minimum 2 years of continuous hospital experience as an X-Ray Technologist within the last two years.Licensure: Current registration as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).Immunization Requirements (Must be current or able to obtain):

Patient Care & Communication:Clearly communicate with patients, healthcare providers, and families, ensuring effective understanding of procedures and instructions.Motivate patients and families to engage in post-procedure care for optimal recovery.Radiologic Procedures:Operate diagnostic imaging equipment with precision and skill, primarily working in the operating room (OR).Perform diagnostic imaging on a variety of patients, ensuring safety and comfort at all times.Ensure all equipment is used properly and report any malfunctions or issues promptly.Knowledge & Skills:Maintain a strong understanding of medical terminology, equipment, and supplies.Provide care across the patient lifespan, from infants to geriatric patients, demonstrating sensitivity to age-related needs and conditions.Demonstrate expertise in assessing and performing radiologic procedures for diverse patient populations.Technical Proficiency:Proficient in basic computer operations, including word processing, data entry, and use of automated medical records systems.At USGP, we are dedicated to supporting the healthcare of military service members and their families.
