**Job Summary and Responsibilities** As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions. Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction. To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses. + Displays competency operating teleradiology system and equipment including performing procedures in the department, in the operating room, and on a mobile basis. + Utilizes good radiation safety practices for patients, self and others by use of available radiation protection devices. Ensure badges are worn appropriately and readings are available. + Accurately marks all radiographs with R's and L's. Accurately marks whether an image is upright or supine (when applicable), assures that the patient information is clearly visible. + Always provides written documentation on the x ray requisition stating the reason(s) the exams are being done.
