Radiography Technician - Diagnostic Radiology - PRN
PRN (As Needed) Hours Varied **General Summary** Performs routine radiographic procedures at the beginner skill level. **Essential Functions:** + Performs radiographic examinations, obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient concerns. + Schedules cases to coordinate with other patient examinations. + Positions and transfers patients safely and comfortably and explains basic procedure. + Immobilizes patients as necessary and practices radiation safety procedures + Properly processes images using digital technology + Evaluates images for technical quality **Common Expectations:** + Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span of the assigned patient population. Assesses and interprets patient age specific data and provides appropriate, age specific treatment.
