Radio Programmer
Job Description Will act as a City of Fort Worth ITS Communications Technician for the 2026 FireEMS Radio Reprogramming Project. The candidate will program and document radio assets for the Fire/EMS Departments. Utilizing Motorola Customer Programming software and the Asset Tracking tool MCM. Will be required to perform tasks at the Radio Shop and at Fire Stations or Dispatch Centers off-site. This will include using computer equipment, programming cables, encryption loading devices, filling out documentation checklists, and communicating with the project leadership. Skills and Requirements 1+ years experience programming radios, specifically Motorola Soft skills such as communication, teamwork, adaptability, & time management. Reliable transportation. Basic knowledge of Land Mobile Radio programming.
