Radiation Therapist - part-time (Culpeper)
Participates in a variety of patient care and non-patient care duties involved in the planning and administration of radiation therapy to patients. + Fabricates treatment aids and immobilization devices and performs simulation/AcQsim procedures. + Collects analyzes and interprets data and performs quality checks. + Performs radiation treatment delivery. + Instructs students. + Ensures patient and employee safety and communicates effectively. + Participates in educational activities and staff meetings and ensures certification. + In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned. **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS** **Education:** Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program. **Experience:** No experience required. **Licensure:** American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) certification within 6 months of hire. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required. **PHYSICAL DEMANDS** Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 – 50lbs. May be exposed to blood/body fluids and infectious disease. The starting base rate for this role is $37.47 hourly.
