Racker

Paying $19 / HR to $20.65 / HR

Location: SE Portland, OR

The racker position involves preparing metal parts for powder coating in Plant 1. This role requires meticulous attention to detail as you will be responsible for picking parts and hanging them on racks. Other duties include visually inspecting parts for quality, entering completed work orders into the computer system, and collaborating with management to ensure smooth production flow.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and rack metal parts for powder coating.Inspect parts visually to ensure quality standards are met.Enter completed work orders into the computer system.Collaborate with management to maintain smooth production flow.

Qualifications:

Comfortable with repetitive tasks.High attention to safety protocols.Ability to multitask effectively.Physical ability to lift between 30-50 lbs repeatedly.Capability to read and follow basic work instructions.

Environment / Shift:

Join a metal plating company with 100 employees across three plants. The industrial environment focuses on plating and coating metal parts. Temperatures vary, being warm in the summer and potentially cold in some departments during the winter.Swing shift (train on days 1 for week).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.65/hr.
