Job Description
Join a family-owned aerospace company as a Racker, where you will play a vital role in performing plating tasks using standard methods and specifications. This position offers stable employment with a company that has been established for over 50 years.
ResponsibilitiesPerform plating tasks using standard racks, stringer racking method, and plating barrels according to simple formulas and specifications.Accurately and timely calculate process cycles.Assist in testing, mixing, and maintaining solutions under direct guidance.Regulate current and temperature as prescribed in the process traveler.Rack, un-rack, and pack products correctly as required.Receive training in cleaning, passivation, plating, anodizing, chemical conversion coating, stripping, and rework of non-conforming products.Essential SkillsExperience with anodizing and plating.Ability to lift and perform mechanical assembly using hand tools.Knowledge of electroplating and racking.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Strong math skills and attention to detail.A good employment record in roles requiring dependability and commitment to quality.Ability to read, write, speak, and follow instructions in workplace English.Capability to stand, walk, and reach without restrictions for an 8-hour shift.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment operates from 2:30pm to 11:00pm, Monday to Friday. Be prepared for a hot environment during the summer months as there is no air conditioning.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
