Job Description
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as paint prep laborers on our paint line. This role involves a variety of tasks related to preparing metal parts for paint and powder coat application, ensuring high-quality production standards.
ResponsibilitiesLift and load parts onto the paint line and unload them after processing.Visually inspect metal parts for any previous damage.Verify parts and paperwork to ensure completion of prior processing steps.Clean, mask, plug, and fixture components before paint and powder coat application.Collaborate with team members to properly prep parts.Maintain equipment and keep the work area organized.Operate batch ovens according to work order specifications.Inspect parts after coating is complete.Unmask, unplug, and package components as needed.Complete all necessary paperwork accurately.Essential Skills1-2 years of manufacturing experience related to racking and general labor.Ability to lift 30-50 lbs consistently.Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled environment, especially in the hot conditions of the paint department.Willingness to work overtime as needed, including occasional Fridays and rare Saturdays.A stable work history with no more than a couple of jobs over the last few years.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with production, general labor, racking, paint prep, painting, sanding, and power tools.A good attitude and cultural fit.Why Work Here?

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
